LEADERSHIP

Helping Hands strives to facilitate independence and self-sufficiency while building leadership skills within our communities by working with community groups, students, women and youth, teaching applied, sustainable farming methods.

COMPETENCE

With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.  Here, farmers from Okana and Nyakach build a flying garden.

 PROBLEM SOLVING

When land and space for cultivation is at a premium, sack gardening is an optimal alternative method of growing vegetables.  We provide our target groups with farm inputs including sacks, seeds, trays for cultivating seedlings, and manual irrigation pumps.
